To Keep It Safe And Savage Out There, All Racers Must Follow These Rules:
Bear Valley Sled Fest – Racer Safety Rules
Applies to All Riders, All Classes — Including Kids Classes
- Working Tether Required For Both Drag And Hill Climb Events
- Chest Protector Mandatory For Hill Climb
- Helmet + Eye Protection — Goggles Or Full-Face With Shield Closed
- Boots And Full-Length Pants — No Sneakers, Flip Flops, Or Shorts. Jeans Are Fine
- No Short Sleeves — Long Sleeves Only
- Gloves Required — Always
- Absolutely No Alcohol Or Drugs On The Snow
- Before You Proceed, Read The Event Rules And Guidelines
Kids Classes (0–200cc and 200–600cc) – Additional Safety
- All standard safety gear applies, including helmet, gloves, boots, pants, and long sleeves.
- Chest protectors are strongly encouraged for all kids
- Parent or guardian must be present at staging and available throughout the event
- All youth sleds must pass tech inspection before racing
