All overnight parking must be done in designated parking areas. Please park in marked spaces only to avoid blocking other vehicles or emergency routes.
Be considerate when parking overnight. Ensure there’s enough space for others, and do not block the main access roads or other vehicles.
All snowmobiles must undergo a pre-race inspection to ensure they meet event safety standards. Vehicles that do not pass inspection will not be allowed to race.
Helmets, gloves, and other protective gear are required for all participants. Additional safety gear such as goggles, boots, and snow suits are strongly recommended.
Participants must follow the instructions of race officials and event organizers. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
Stunts, excessive speeding, or dangerous behavior during races will not be tolerated. Participants must race safely and responsibly.
Mini Racers Class (0–200cc)
Participants must be 10 years old or younger.
This class is designed for younger riders just starting out, with a focus on safety, confidence-building, and fun.
Young Guns Class (200–600cc)
Participants must be 15 years old or younger.
This class is for more experienced youth riders ready for real racing with full safety requirements in place.
Always adhere to wilderness maps and ride only in designated, legal riding areas. Stay on marked trails to avoid penalties.
When riding through Bear Valley Village or other populated areas, strictly follow the posted speed limits. Be mindful of pedestrians and other vehicles.
Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited while riding. Participants must be sober at all times, and any violations will result in disqualification from the event.
Performing stunts or engaging in reckless behavior outside the designated event areas is prohibited. Maintain a safe and respectful distance from other riders.
Riders should be prepared for cold temperatures, snow, and varying weather conditions. Always check weather updates for any schedule changes or safety alerts
All riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Riders must remain within the designated event zones. Do not ride outside of marked or permitted areas, and respect event boundaries.

In case of an emergency, follow the instructions of medical staff and safety officers immediately. Be aware of emergency exits and medical stations on-site.
Event officials, safety officers, and medical staff are there to ensure everyone’s safety. Failure to follow their instructions may result in removal from the event.
For the safety of all attendees, staff, and the surrounding environment, no fireworks of any kind are permitted during Bear Valley Sled Fest. This includes personal fireworks, firecrackers, sparklers, or any other pyrotechnics. Let’s keep the mountain safe and enjoyable for everyone.
All race participants must complete and sign the Bear Valley Sled Fest – Race Participation Waiver and Release of Liability before competing.

Race bibs are only issued after a signed waiver is submitted.
